Breast Procedures

This patient is a 20-year-old female from the greater Sacramento area who was seeking both improvement of her breast size and breast shape through augmentation mamoplasty. Her current breast size was a small B cup and she had breast asymmetry with a fuller rounder left breast than that of the right. She wanted to be a full C cup after breast implants in Sacramento. We discussed thoroughly the procedure after examining the patient I felt that gaining better symmetry before placing the implant would improve the result of her breast augmentation. During the operative procedure we therefore excised a small lesion and small amount of breast tissue from the lower aspect of the left breast. This allowed me to place equal sized breast implants to achieve a symmetrical result. The patient selected saline implants placed through a peraereolar incision. We used 360cc moderate profile saline breast implants. After her breast enlargement in Sacramento, the patient is a 36 C cup.
