Vote for Your Implant of Choice in 2008

Silicone gel breast implants now available

If you’re confused or even unenthused about all your choices this election year, here’s an option you might really welcome: silicone gel breast implants. Now that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has re-approved silicone gel implants after many years of study, our Sacramento plastic surgeons can offer them to women considering breast augmentation.

Many women feel silicone gel implants create a more natural look and feel than saline implants. But which implants are the best choice for you? How do you decide? A good way to learn more and make the right decision is to request a consultationand come in to meet with us. We’ll show you the different implants available and assist you in electing the right choice.

Injectable Fillers

Many choices to help you look great

If one of your goals for 2008 is to improve your appearance, there are more non-invasive ways to accomplish that than ever before. Along with the enormously popular BOTOX® Cosmetic to smooth dynamic wrinkles, The Plastic Surgery Center offers several of the most effective dermal fillers to fill in where lost volume causes sunken cheeks, hollows under the eyes and wrinkles around the eyes, nose and mouth. Treatment takes under an hour, causes little to no discomfort and, best of all, results are immediate. Contact us to discuss how treatment with a filler like Restylane® or Radiesse® can have you looking years younger.

Plastic Surgeons & Presidents

Two of our surgeons take CSPS leadership roles

The Plastic Surgery Center is proud to highlight the leadership roles two of our physicians play in the California Society of Plastic Surgeons (CSPS), which represents over 400 board certified plastic surgeons throughout California. The CSPS was formed 50 years ago as a society to benefit both patients and plastic surgeons of California in the areas of education, patient safety, ethics, legislation and more.

Dr. John Osborn recently completed his year as CSPS President and is currently sitting on the CSPS Council in the role of Immediate Past President. Dr. Debra Johnson is presently President-Elect and will become President in June 2008 at the next annual meeting.

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Osborn has served on numerous committees including the Bylaws, Membership, Nominating, Strategic Planning, Ambulatory and Ethics committees. He has been Chairman of both the Bylaws and Ethics committees for three years each. He also served as an elected Councilor from the North for three years and as Treasurer for three years before moving up the ladder to the Presidency.

Dr. Johnson has been a member of the Legislative Committee for the past ten years and has served as Co-Chairman for the past four years. She has also served on the Membership, Awards, and Strategic Planning Committees. She was also an elected Councilor from the North for three years before becoming Treasurer for three years, then Vice-President and now President-Elect.
