This patient is a 35-year-old female who is 5 ft 3 inches tall and 123 pounds. After having children she lost significant volume in her breasts and therefore was seeking breast enlargement surgery in the Roseville area in order to improve her breast volume and appearance and to help balance her upper body to her lower body proportions. By examination this patient had 34A cup breasts with mild pseudoptosis and mild breast asymmetry. Because of the significant loss of breast volume following breast-feeding, and very thin subcutaneous fatty tissue she was an excellent candidate for breast augmentation using a silicone implant. We selected Mentor 325cc smooth round moderate plus profile cohesive silicone gel breast implants. These implants were placed in a sub muscular position through a periareolar approach. Postoperatively she wears a 34C cup bra. Her recovery was smooth as is the case with 95% of our patients. They take little to no pain medicine after the first day and most could be back to work in just a few days.
